The Harry Potter Book Tag

I ( Avi) can not tell you how long I have wanted to do this and just did not end up doing. Harry Potter is one of my all time favorite series ( who’s isn’t?) so thank you  @A Very Fantasy Corner Of Books for tagging me and pushing me to do this.  Her answers are amazing so you should go check her out later. Also thanks toTrang and Lashaan @bookidote for the graphics, they rock!

Without further ado, the tag!

A book you found interesting but would like to rewrite

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

I realize that there’s like a hundred fans loading their guns right now and I do have an unpopular opinion on this book. I liked the book a little, I liked the plotline and the moral it gave but what I didn’t like was the cliché writing so I would give a thousand bucks to read this book with in a heart wrenching writing.

A first book in a series that got you hooked

The Vampire Academy by Richelle Meed. I goddamn love that series and I was IN from the first page of the first book.

A book you wish you could have right now

Is this supposed to be an unreleased book? If so, then look there’s a tie and I cant decide. A Court Of Wings and Ruins by Sarah J Maas and Without Merit by Colleen Hoover.

If it can be any , then I would really like A Darker Shade Of Magic by V E Schwab please.

A killer book

Is this supposed to be a book that has the theme of killing or killed you? I’m going with killed me and saying Making Faces by Amy Harmon. Just read it 😛

A book you found confusing

Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. Now I wasn’t confused by the book itself, I loved it honestly but the ending just left me wondering what just happened? Like what did I read the book for?Now I cant get into much of it without spoiling the book but I think those who have read it will understand what I am saying.

Your spirit animal book

I’d love to say Harry Potter but since it is the Harry Potter tag, I’ll say Sydney from Maybe Someday by colleen Hoover. She is one of the first heroines I connected deeply with and loved so here it is.

A dark, twisted book

Q by Pepper Winters. I had the worst headache after this series , it is dark and fucked up and I love it.

A book that surprised you in a great way, reveals to be more than it is.

Law Man by Kristen Ashley. Before KA, I didn’t know that level of adult romance and I went into this book casually but it blew me away. KA has been one of my favorite authors ever since.

  1. I love the Harry Potter tag! And yours is no exception 🙂
I agree with you on John Green but, alas, most of his books seem kind of similar and clichéd? So yeah, rewrite it please!
I’m definitely waiting on ADSOM and also ACOWAR (even though I haven’t read the first two books lol But it just looks amazing!)
    Great post, Avi ^^

    1. Thanks a lot Sophie! I haven’t read any other of his books after this but I can imagine how cliche it would be haha. When are you planning on reading ADSOM? You so need to read this series, it will change your life! Thanks again:)

  2. I started reading Norwegian Wood but I couldn’t finish it. Should I maybe give it a try again? 😀 Murakami’s books are a little confusing to me. I’ve read Kafka on the Shore and although it’s a little weird, I kind of liked it. 😅

  4. Your answers were so much fun to read!! Even though I have yet to read Harry Potter (I KNOW, I KNOW, I’VE FAILED), I still think this is ridiculously cool. I super agree about The Fault in Our Stars. I thought it could use some majorrrrrr reworking. And I totally wish I could have the summoning spell for ACOWAR too! Can we share? XD Wonderful tag, and it was so much fun to read! I sadly have already done this tag, but thanks so much for thinking of me! Great post! 😀

    1. Girl you gotta pick Harry Potter up next, I’m not even going to tell what a life changing book that is cause I’m sure you’ve heard it everywhere haha. I really don’t get all the hype around TFIOS to be honest , the book is good but the writing naah. The wait for ACOWAR is driving us all crazy lol, and sure! Well that’s okay 🙂 and thank you so much!
