Let me just say, I (Avi) love this idea, it’s so different and I’m digging it. We were tagged to do the Liebster Award by the lovely Mandy @BookPrincessReviews. I absolutely love her blog, it’s one that you have to check out.

I’ve also been tagged to do the Sunshine Blogger Award / tag by  BookBum  &  Maniacal Book Unicorn who both have amazing blogs  and since these are both similar, I thought I’d do them all together.

You may want to get some coffee cause this is going to be long! and also a round of applause for me who took almost two months to complete this tag.

BOOK PRINCESS REVIEWS

1.If you had to sort your own personal library, how would you do it – color, author, another way?

I love book shelves which are color coordinated, it makes it seem so much cooler but if I had to sort mine, I’d do it series wise or if they’re standalone then genres. (Which I say because I love the idea but mine is currently Color coded hehe.)

2.  How important is a cover on a book for you?

Not too important but I would think twice before reading one with an extremely lame or boring cover. I think that in a way the cover does speak something about the author.

3. What made you choose blogging – not Youtube or etc. but blogging?

I have always been a writer, I just recently found some papers on which my 13/14 year old self had written pages and pages of rants after reading books so it’s always been about writing and expressing with me, YouTube wasn’t even an option.

4.What Princess (or Disney character) can you relate the most with? IF you don’t watch much Disney, what fictional character period can you?

I could not for the life of me think which Disney character I related to so I just ended up taking a Buzzfeed quiz about it and it showed me Aurora and since I can relate to the description, I’m going with it.

5.If you could only have one song as mood music to reading, what you choose?

The Other by Lauv because that song has so many feels to hit me along with a good book and it’s not fast paced enough to distract me.

6.If you had to have your favorite meal – sans arugula of course – what would it be?

I have no idea what sans arugula is but my favorite meal would have to be Subway. I can eat it all day everyday.

7.Do you have a favorite time of year? If so, when is it and why?

My favorite time of the year is December or in Winter because after more than half a year of scorching heat, its finally decently cold in India to make me feel fresh and finally wear all my jackets and full sleeves and beanies.

 8.What was your last binge watch/read?

It’s been a while (by that I mean two weeks) since I binge watched a TV show and it was Reign but I stopped halfway through season 2.

My last binge read was Black Hearts and Dirty Souls by Karina just last night and today morning.

9.What was your favorite story (folktale or fairytale maybe?) as a kid?

I don’t have many specific folk tales cause my mom used to make up stories and tell them to me all the time but I do remember reading Pinocchio and Barbie books a lot of the time.

10.Do you discuss books with anyone in real life?

Luckily I do have people I can talk to IRL, it’s Vishwa (the co-owner of this blog) and another friend of mine.

11.If you could meet your favorite author, who would it be and what one question would you ask them?

Wow, this is hard, there are so many authors that I want to meet but J.K.Rowling tops it all. Harry Potter is the first book that changed my life as it did for many other people. I’d like to ask her how she feels about changing the lives of thousands of people from all over the world and making them fall in love with reading because I’m sure that would be the happiest and most overwhelming thing as an author and if she ever expected for her books to shake the world.

BOOKBUM

1. What’s your favorite book/movie of all time and why did it speak to you so much?

This is the hardest question but my favorite movie of all time is Titanic- I cant put into words what it is but just the story fills my heart with love and sadness and its surrel how we get to see a portion of someone’s life which happened in one of the crowded ships and biggest events.

My favorite books ( s cause I cant chose) are Bright Side by Kim Holden and It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover just because they’ve taught me so much about life and reality and just fighting and loving.

2.What’s the one thing that people always misunderstand about you?

My sarcasm. I’m very sarcastic people always take me seriously and then I have to be like ‘oh no I was just kidding’.

3.If you could bring one musician back to life, who would it be and why?

Michael Jackson. Now he isn’t like my all time favorites or so but the small amount of songs that I’ve heard, I’ve fallen in love with and I’d want more of them, No deep meaning or so. I also kind of feel like since I was only 9 when he died, I’ve only heard hype of his and I would love to see what it is all about.

4.If you have to live without one of your senses, which would you give up?

Smell because it won’t matter as much as handicap my eyesight or sense of touch make me.

5.How would you spend 1 million pounds / dollars?

I’d divided it in four, give one part to charity, put one in my savings, use one for my family and the last one for me to buy books and clothes!

6.What was your childhood dream job?

To become a pilot. I still want to but I don’t have the best eyesight (its not bad but not enough to fly) and I cannot handle weather changes so there it goes!)

7.If you could change one law, what would it be, and what would you change it to?

So the law in my state states that ‘ you can’t drink hard liquor unless you’re 25 and soft unless you’re 21. I mean really? I can vote at 18 , have sex at 18, get married at 18 but I’m apparently not mature enough to drink alcohol and not die.

8.Do you have any heroes? Who are they?

I don’t know, I can’t think of a specific one. I feel like I take things from people in real life or books and use them in my life. Like if I am in a situation, I’ll think about what my mom would do or what that cousin of mine that I really look up to do or what would this character who went through something like this do? And just go on about it.

9.Other than books, what are you passionate about?

Writing, photography and drawing / coloring .

10.What is your biggest fear?

Balloons. Yeah I know WTF? I’ve been wondering that too but I am terrified of balloons and would rather jump of a cliff than touch one.

11.(I’m being a copy cat) Do you have any pets? PICS PLEASE!!!!

Haha I don’t have any pets. Dogs are cute but I don’t think I’ll be able to take care of one for more than a week so maybe in some years!

MAGICAL BOOK UNICORN

1.If you could speak another language, what would it be and why?

Probably Greek. It’s just so ancient and legendary.

2.Name your favorite hobby outside of reading / watching anime, when did you start it?

Writing. I like to write my thoughts or short stories or in my journal. I don’t remember when I started it but I did realize that I loved to do so in 7^th grade when I understood that it was okay to not say everything out loud.

3.Which fictional character(s) (game, movie, tv show, book) would you most want to meet in real life?

Haley Scott and Brook Davis from the show One Tree Hill. I just love them and I think I am a lot like Haley and Brook is just the most fun and loving person to be with.

4.What is the best novel / comic/ manga you have read so far this year?

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff!

5.If you could live In a book / tv show what would it be?

Any – any heart wrenching romance book and if it’s a TV series then One Tree Hill anytime!

6.What is the best tv show/ anime series you have seen this year?

This is Us and Riverdale!

7. How would you survive a zombie apocalypse ?

Well I’m currently building a warehouse with a year’s worth of food and books..

8.What book, movie, anime, game / tv show are you most anticipating the release for?

I am desperately waiting for A Court Of Wings and Ruins by Sarah J Maas and Without Merit by Collen Hoover.

For TV Shows, I’m waiting on the new seasons of Suits, This Is Us, Pretty Little Liars and Stranger Things.

9.If you could pick any animal in the world (fictional or otherwise) to temporality change into for a day what would it be and why?

I’d like to be a pet dog cause they’re spoiled.

10.What is your favorite dessert of all time?

Anything with dark chocolate.

11.Name top 5 places you wish to travel in the future (fictional or otherwise).
